Dak Lak PPC has convened a meeting to review preparations for the 2026 Investment Promotion Conference along with the announcement of adjustments to the provincial planning.

According to the draft plan, the event has been officially named the Provincial Planning Announcement and Investment Promotion Conference. It is scheduled to take place over two days, from June 19 - 20, 2026, at the PYTOPIA Convention Centre in Tuy Hoa ward, with around 1,000 delegates expected to attend, including Government leaders, representatives from ministries along with central agencies, diplomatic partners, enterprises, alongside domestic and foreign investors.
Under the theme “Dak Lak - Potential and Aspiration for Development”, the event aims to officially announce adjustments to the provincial planning for the 2021 - 2030 period, with a vision towards 2050, while attracting strategic investors for key projects as well as reaffirming the locality’s commitment to improving the business environment.
Beyond main conference session on the morning of June 20, 2026, the event series will feature several major sideline activities, including the 2026 Vietnam Private Sector Forum (VPSF); specialised seminars on development of industrial parks and industrial clusters associated with logistics, digital transformation combined with high-tech agriculture; investment site surveys; along with an exhibition showcasing signature and OCOP products from Dak Lak, Khanh Hoa, Lam Dong and Gia Lai at Phu Yen Square.
To ensure effective coordination, the province agreed to establish an Organising Committee headed by the PPC Chairman, together with four specialised support teams responsible for reception - logistics, content, communications and security.
At the meeting, departments coupled with agencies reported on the progress of assigned tasks while providing feedback on a promotional video introducing the provincial socio-eco development potential alongside advantages, scheduled for screening during conference. The Department of Finance also revised the list of 12 projects scheduled for groudbreaking, inauguration and rollout, including seven groundbreaking projects, two inauguration projects as well as three rollout projects. Notably, the list was supplemented with a project constructing 100 community houses combined with flood shelters.

Addressing the meeting, PPC Chairman Do Huu Huy stressed that the Provincial Planning Announcement and Investment Promotion Conference carries particularly important significance for the province, requiring preparations to be implemented proactively, decisively along with effectively. He emphasised that departments and agencies must establish specific timelines while simultaneously launching key projects, clearly identifying strategic investors and concrete products across sectors such as energy, tourism, healthcare alongside the digital economy. The ultimate goal, he noted, is to affirm the locality’s competitive advantages through tangible investment outcomes.
Agencies assigned to lead implementation have been instructed to urgently develop detailed plans coupled with finalise budget estimates before May 28, 2026. The PPC Office and the Department of Finance will monitor implementation progress alongside submit weekly reports so that the Organising Committee can provide timely direction and ensure the conference is organised in a formal combined with effective manner.
